2 yrs ago I was a single father without much money trying to figure out how to get something nice for my 2 year old daughter. I really wanted to get her a playhouse but after looking found the nicer looking ones cost hundreds of dollars and were plastic. No way I could afford one of those and I really don't like the idea of adding to the landfills, or global warming since my daughter (and your children) will be inheriting this place some day! The cheaper ones still around $50. still too much, were really crappy looking and looked as if they would fall apart in a week. I wanted something I could be proud to give her. I decided to make one myself. The playhouse that I built is still in use today. Has survived a bunch of kids playing in it. Looks nicer than the really expensive ones and my daughter loves it. Out of all the presents she has gotten since then this is still her favorite! I'm certain that years from now she will remember the house that Daddy built for her! When new friends come over they all run over to play in the playhouse and the parents always ask where they could get one!
Well here we are two years later. It's getting close to Christmas, the economy's in bad shape so money's tight for everyone and we're all worried about global warming! So here's a way for you to make something really special for your children without breaking the bank and without out adding to a landfill! Also with the full size plans, detailed instructions and help line you can avoid the experimenting I had to do to make it durable and easy to build!
